We are buzzing with excitement as your countryside radio, RW 95.1 FM, celebrates 29 glorious years on the airwaves!
How time flies, especially when you think about all the hurdles and the most challenging times we had to face, we stood tall and persevered our way through, all thanks to the visionary who started it all.
In 1995, Radioworld Broadcasting Corporation was founded by the late chairman Liberato “Levy” P. Laus to serve the Kapampangans and the whole of Central Luzon during the devastating Pinatubo eruption. What began as his dream became a whole new reality, and since then, RW 95.1 FM has been the heart and soul of local radio, blending the right amount of up-to-date news, music and entertainment, becoming a beloved staple in every household in the region.
In recognition of our efforts, RW was hailed as the Best FM Radio Station in the country in 2007, and the Best Provincial FM Station in the Country in 2011, 2016 and 2019 by the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) Golden Dove Awards. It was also distinguished as the Most Listened to Provincial FM Station in the 2018 Kantar Media Studies, and dubbed as the Best Local Radio Station during the Paragala: The Central Luzon Media Awards back in 2020.
